Does my AWD SUV really need the flatbed from Colonia?
Yes. Two driven wheels turning on the road with the other two lifted runs the transfer case dry. The rollback puts all four on the deck and costs the same booking fee as the wheel-lift here.
My driveway is steep. Can the rollback still load the car?
The driver looks at the slope and either backs the deck up to the car or winches it down to the street on a straight line and loads there. Any winch work is named before it happens.
The car slid on the ice at the bottom of my street. Am I paying for a tow?
Usually just a winch-out. The car comes back to the pavement and if it drives, that is the bill. If something bent, the rollback is already there and the tow is added at the flat rate.
